Travel Scholarship Guidelines The Music Department will award one travel scholarship of $500 to a Music Technology student each year to attend a national or international conference or festival on which they will have a work performed. In the event that no student has a work accepted for presentation on a national or international event, then the judges will, at their discretion, either not give an award that year or confer the award on a student who they determine would benefit most from attending the conference. All applications must conform to the following: 1. A typed sheet of paper must be submitted containing the following information: 2. A second sheet explaining why the student feels that attending the event will positively impact their professional and artistic goals. All completed applications should be submitted to the attention of Professor Miller and must be received no later than December 1, 2006. The notification of the winner will be made no later than the last week of January, 2007.
