The Music Department may be found on the third floor of Ryder Hall, on the campus of Northeastern University. The department is also home to rehearsal and performance facilities used by students, faculty, and visiting artists.

Northeastern music students enjoy access to state-of-the-art music laboratories. The Computer Music Laboratory features twelve electronic music workstations that are capable of digital audio editing, music sequencing and composition, music notation, sound synthesis, desktop publishing, and multimedia production.
